Ziereisen
Hanspeter Ziereisen, his wife Edeltraud and their family make incredibly characteristic and distinctive wines. Their love for Burgundian Pinot Noirs and their ambition to make the best possible wine from the old grape variety Gutedel, a grape which is typical of Baden and the Markgräferland region, already gives an idea of the taste of her wines. But they are even more complex, and in addition to great Pinot Noirs they also make one of the best German Syrah. Even their Pinot Gris tastes exciting! Ziereisen also demonstrate their independence by marketing all their wines as country wines from Baden. This brought them a lot of recognition from both critics and wine fans. The Ziereisen winery is now one of the most appreciated and highly decorated in Germany.
