Larmandier-Bernier Champagne Lattitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Champagne
From warmer vineyard sites south of Vertus comes the Latitude from Larmandier-Bernier. The loamy soils there produce Chardonnay, which is somewhat rounder and more full-bodied, thus giving the Latitude its name. This 100% Chardonnay champagne is a blend from up to six vintages and it's aged on yeast for 24 months. Year after year, the result is a fresh, crisp Blanc de Blancs with weight, though never heavy. In the nose citrus, mirabelle and a slightly buttery brioche with hazelnut cream. Really one of the champagnes in the category best value for money!
