Gimonnet & fils Fleuron Champagne Brut 1er Cru Champagne 2019
Fleuron by Gimonnet is the classic vintage champagne of the winery. It's the essence of a year brought into a bottle. This means that Fleuron differs slightly from vintage to vintage, but there are some constants as well. It is always 100% Chardonnay, mainly from the villages of Chouilly, Cramant and Cuis in the Côte des Blancs. Chouilly gives the wine body and its broad shoulders, the Cramant adds elegance and finesse, and the grapes from Cuis give the Champagne freshness and lightness. The four-year maturation on the yeast is responsible for Fleuron's a great melt, which combines aromas of yellow stone fruit, lemon balsam and puff pastry to a shiny whole.

Gimonnet & fils
Pierre Gimonnet makes wine grower champagne. This means that the Domaine only processes grapes from its own cultivation. Gimonnet specialises in Blanc de Blancs champagne, in his case only Chardonnay. In his Cuvée Cuis he uses only Chardonnay from the Premier Cru sites around his hometown.
