Heimann Fiai Baranya Szekzárd Kékfrankos 2020
A very beautiful, pronounced Kékfrankos with a slightly marzipan-like, tannic character and a fully ripe cherry aroma. This is a classic Kékfrankos. We also use whole clusters for fermentation here, yet this is the most conservative expression of Kékfrankos available in Szekszárd.

Heimann Family Winery in Szekszárd, Hungary, boasts a vinicultural legacy dating back to 1758, rooted in Swabian heritage. They cultivate around 25 ha of vineyards, blending international Bordeaux varieties with indigenous grapes like Kadarka and Kékfrankos. Under Zoltán Sr. and Ágnes Heimann, the estate underwent modernization from 1989 onward, expanding cellars and acreage, introducing organic practices. With the generational shift around 2016, the "Heimann & Fiai" label emerged, spotlighting terroir-driven, lighter-style wines—especially Kadarka (Zoltán Jr. is nicknamed “Kadarka‑Man”) and Kékfrankos. These wines are crafted via spontaneous fermentation, minimal sulfur, large wooden vessels, and whole‑cluster fermentation to emphasize freshness and varietal purity
