2021 Klundt Pinot Sekt Extra Brut Pfalz
The Pinot Extra Brut from the Klundt winery is an uncompromisingly dry vintage sparkling wine with rough edges. The Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grapes come from Klundt's own vineyards and the entire sparkling process is carried out by the Klundts themselves. The sparkling wines are bottle-fermented, shaken and provided with the smallest possible dosage. This gives them a good character. The Pinot Noir brings a little fruit and spice, but above all firm acidity to the cuvée. The Pinot Blanc then makes the sparkling wine a little rounder and more harmonious. Very clear and dry, rather puristic. Apple, green pear, fresh citrus, light yeast notes. Cool, slightly spicy and very dry. Pinot Extra Brut makes a nice aperitif, but also goes very well with light dishes.
