Luc de Conti and his Château Tour des Gendres have long been among the organic pioneers in south-west France. Since the mid-nineties, they have been working in Bergerac according to ecological principles, now even biodynamic ones. The region is known for powerful red wines, which are often a little more accessible than their counterparts from the neighbouring Bordelais. But Luc also has a special knack for the white grape varieties. His white wines and his Pet Nat are style-defining for the entire appellation. Tour des Gendres stands for very harmonious wines with a clear terroir expression, which nevertheless remain absolutely affordable.
