Adams Weissburgunder Ingelheim Rheinhessen 2023
A Pinot Blanc of depth and elegance: ripe pear, grapefruit zest, and a hint of ruby fruit define the nose, underlined by floral complexity. On the palate fresh, juicy, and full-bodied, with vibrant acidity, a supple structure, and a touch of residual sweetness for a smooth flow. Crafted from marl and weathered limestone soils, spontaneously fermented and matured in traditional oak and stainless steel.
AdamsWein is a boutique estate in Ingelheim am Rhein (Rheinhessen), cultivating 10 ha of vineyards in top single sites like Horn, Pares, Auf dem Haun, Heerweg, and Lohpfad. Under the leadership of Simone Adams, the winery follows biodynamic and regenerative practices since 2020: manual vine training (no mechanical topping), hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentations (often whole-cluster for reds), aging in large oak barrels or barriques, extended lees aging, minimal sulfur, and unfiltered bottling. The result is refined, terroir-driven Burgunder, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Named “Discovery of the Year 2019,” Simone Adams is lauded as one of Germany’s most promising young winemakers.
