Crazy times! We have not been able to cook with you since March, and we miss the cozy evenings with you, our cooking teachers, and assistants so very much. We don’t know about you, but we are happy to see the easing of measures related to Corona in Berlin that make smaller events possible again. At the same time, we remain cautious and do not see the situation as over. So we took our time to decide how to continue with the cooking school.

We didn’t make it easy for ourselves and discussed intensively. In the end, however, we do not want to put economic interests above safety, so we have created a protection and hygiene concept for the cooking school that we are convinced is appropriate to the current situation. With this and of course with your support, we now want to organise cooking classes again. How this will look like in detail, you can read in our blog and our protection and hygiene concept.

The most important changes at a glance:

The cooking school in Prenzlauer Berg will be closed for the time being.
Anyone who has ever cooked on-site at Helmholtzplatz knows that the premises are rather small and intimate. Unfortunately, this is currently not compatible with the minimum distance, which is why we can only offer cooking courses in Charlottenburg for the time being.

The following changes apply to the cooking courses of the cooking school in Charlottenburg from the end of August:

1. You need to book an entire cooking station (4 seats ) i.e. 4 tickets.
Single tickets cannot be purchased for the time being, as the participants must be persons from the same household or persons from an acquainted household.
2. All cooking course participants as well as cooking course teachers and assistents must wear a mouth and nose protector when cooking. It is not necessary to wear a mask when eating at the table.
3. Alcohol is only served at the table during the meal
4. A maximum of 4 people is allowed to cook together and eat together at the same table

Also, you’ll soon be able to cook with us from home as well. We will start with live online cooking courses in the coming weeks.

We look forward to cooking with you again!
