Grande Cuvée 1531 Crémant de Limoux
What is that?
The Aimery Crémant de Limoux Brut is a dry tasting, white sparkling wine from the Languedoc region of southern France. It is made from Chardonnay, Chenin blanc and Mauzac grapes. What does it taste like? Thanks to its southern French origin, it has a milder acidity than many other crémants. Imagine a basket with ripe apples, white flowers and honey, in the mouth it is round and harmonious with great freshness. Our value-for-money hit!
Charming show-off knowledge:
Did you know that Limoux claims to be the oldest sparkling wine region in the world? It is said that Benedictine monks have been producing sparkling wine in the abbey of Saint-Hilaire since 1531. Even before Champagne.
