Ellermann-Spiegel's turn on Gewürztraminer has really everything a Gewürztraminer needs. The wine has impressive lush aromas of ripe slightly tropical fruits, notes of red flowers, and a nice residual sweetness. The typical lychee, orange peel, almond tarts, rose petals - everything is in its right place. Very juicy, with little acidity, and not too perfumed, this wine pairs well with spicy cheese and well-seasoned Thai dishes such as Pad Thai or red curry.
