L'Echevin - Côtes du Rhône Villages SAINT MAURICE BLANC "Guillaume de Rouville"
Adrien Fabre makes incredibly beautiful Côtes-du-Rhône wines full of character. The vineyards around Saint-Maurice are calcareous and are oriented to the northeast, which explains the freshness of the wines. Adrien is a biodynamic wine maker, the wines are even demeter-certified. Of course, he mainly makes red wines from Syrah and Grenache. Again and again, however, it is overlooked how grandiose white Côtes-du-Rhóne can be. The cuvée consists of Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Marsanne.
How does it taste?
Aromatic, with a lot of body, but also fresh enough. Mandarin, fresh pineapple, candied orange, some toast and clove.
