Meier - St. Laurent dry
Georg Meier also makes good red wines in the sunny Südpfalz. We especially like his simple Sankt Laurent. Originally the grape variety comes from Austria, but is also represented in small quantities in the German southwest. You can make wonderful wines from this grape variety, but it is so difficult to cultivate that its distribution continues to decline. Actually one should even be grateful to Georg Meier.
And how does it taste?
Fruity and slim. Cherry, red currant, pepper and clove.
