Faiveley - Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Domaine Faiveley is one of the largest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy. Unlike many other Négociants, the Faiveleys are still a real family business and cultivate a very large proportion of their own vineyards. Their simple Pinot Noir is one of the few entry-level Burgundians that is both accessible and indicates what Burgundy is capable of. And all this at an affordable price.
What does it taste like?
Beautiful red berry fruit, some pepper and clove. Lots of structure and round tannin.
Bottled by: Domaine Faiveley, 8 rue du Tribourg, 21700 Nuits-Saint-Georges, France
