Claus Preisinger - Zweigelt Kieselstein
Within just a few years, Claus Preisinger has acquired a very independent signature among Austrian winegrowers. In the Burgenland town of Gols, he continuously relies on organic and biodynamic working methods with a lot of manual work in the vineyard and cellar. Claus now focuses mainly on regional grape varieties, such as Zweigelt in this case.
And how does it taste?
The name Kieselstein already reveals the soil that characterises the Zweigelt. Cool, juicy cherry fruit flows out of the glass. Intense aromas also in the mouth, but it always remains slightly bitter and slender. A great red wine for every occasion.
