Åkesson's Madagascar 100% is made from 100% cocoa from Madagascar's famous Ambolikapiky plantation. No sugar, no additives. The Åkesson family is one of the pioneers of the bean-to-bar movement. Once diplomats, they bought plantations in Madagascar in the 1970s and later additional plantations in Brazil. When producing their chocolates, the Åkesson's not only value the highest quality, but also biodiversity in the plantations themselves, which are not pure cocoa but also spice plantations. Other top chocolatiers also buy cocoa beans directly from Åkesson. Anyone who has tried them once will understand us when we say: We cannot live without those bars anymore!
