Culinary Uses They impart a distinct citrus flavour and a sour tang to soups, stocks, stews and marinades and rice dishes. Alternatively make a caffeine-free hot or cold drink by adding a whole dried lime, which has been broken in half to a teapot of boiling water, leave to infuse for several minutes and sweeten to taste with honey.
